Can You Get a Crown Without a Root Canal
Root canal on premolar without crown ?
So I just got told that I need a root canal on ane of my upper premolars , my question hither is , is it possible to only get the root canal without needing a crown ?
Affair is my insurance covers the root canal but not the crown and that's pretty expensive.
And if a crown is absolutely necessary , could I go the root culvert done one day and so get the crown later on ? I'm just scared I might harm my molar or something if I leave it without a crown for a while.
Thank you for whatsoever help !

Generally- it is recommended that you lot crown posterior teeth that accept root canals. Root canals weaken the tooth and make them more susceptible to breaking. The crown protects the tooth when y'all are bitter down. Do y'all grind your teeth? If so, you definitely need to get a crown. Yous don't accept to get the crown IMMEDIATELY afterwards, but we recommend it get done pretty soon later the RCT.

Awesome thanks !
In that case I'm planning on getting the RCT in a clinic that my insurance covers, and so maybe iv or 5 days later I'll get the crown washed by a smaller clinic with a family friend
